Introduction of Combi Mat The Combi Mat is a stitched combination of chopped strands and woven roving, designed without binders in the chopped strand layer to achieve excellent resin impregnation and superior conformability to mold surfaces. Because the layers are pre-stitched together, the production process is simplified and productivity is greatly improved. This feature is particularly advantageous in FRP flat sheet manufacturing, where reduced process steps lead to higher production efficiency. It is ideal for high-strength applications such as FRP boat hulls, large corrosion-resistant tanks, and vehicle bodies and doors.
